Earlier today master popsmith, John Vanderslice announced via his twitter account that he had just posted a free EP to his web site. Green Grow The Rushes is a six song affair that was recorded at JV's Tiny Telephone studios by Scott Solter. After several listens in the period of a couple hours we our more than a little hooked. Our current favorite off the new EP is Lay Down, which features Spoon's Jim Eno handling drums, percussion and production duties.
