Last week we were pleasantly surprised to find Birmingham, England's noise pop titans, Calories issuing their appropriately titled third full length, III. The new set seemingly pick up where 2010's superb Basic Nature left us with ragged fuzz covered pop that exhibits Calories strength for discharging catchy as hell melodies, submerged under mountains of feedback. The nine track III, which contains among other things, the ten plus minute closer Tropics, which we currently can't get enough of, is currently available as a pay what you want deal over at Calories Bandcamp.
